Early Friday morning, one of the more stables countries of South America was shaking as a doll rag, seemed like a Hollywood horror movie, a Chilean housewife said. An earthquake of 8.8 magnitude was hitting Chile, being this the fifth bigger quake of the last 100 years.
The firefighters were in a whole rush early Friday morning to try to fix what the monster brought. Here some of the damages, around half million houses were broken, some overpass became rubbles and many cars got contract because of that, blackouts were common in several cities.
The Government said at least 214 People were killed, the International Airport of the Capital was closed some hours because it shown damage such as broken glass, and fell halls. One wall of a Prison Southern Santiago went down, and two hundred sixty nine inmates took advantage of it and escaped. In others cities people loot pharmacies, shops, and so on.
After this, the world was expecting a rush of Tsunamis hit the Countries ashore Pacific Coast, But the alarms were deactivated hours later, just in the main island of Hawai, some people said, that the water in the ocean moves a little bit down, but not big waves were seen. There is an evident fear in Chilean because of what can happen in next hours, President Barack Obama has offers to help the Andean Country, and at the same time has made a call to the word, to be alert
for upcoming events.
